“We are storytellers. We have fulfilled an integral role for the human race ever since there was a spoken language. Storytelling is time travel and teleportation; it is prophecy; it is philosophy; it is not just the elimination of barriers but the co-mingling of perceptions; storytelling allows us to emotionally, spiritually and intellectually suspend barriers and relearn our humanity.”

Does Second Wind Publishing ever consider non-fiction books? How about a book that is all stories but stories about education? A book that tells about a 16 year old high school student that undertakes unique research into the world of mercenaries and finds someone writing a television series and brushes against a precedent setting freedom of the press issue connected with murder-for-hire and “Soldier of Fortune” magazine? Or the story of a first year teacher that stumbles into and on top of a complete, powerful religious cult? And how about looking at storytelling from the point of view of education and literate behavior including an ancient Apache parable?
